Structured Cabling systems - Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling installed to TIA-568 standards for commercial and industrial environments.

Data closet and server room buildout - Rack installation, patch panel termination, cable management, and dedicated power circuits for network equipment.

Low-voltage electrical work - Dedicated circuits, UPS system integration, and conduit installation to support network hardware and communications equipment.

Cable certification and testing - Post-installation testing and documentation using calibrated equipment to verify performance against industry standards.

Network cabling and low-voltage wiring are regulated by the National Electrical Code (NEC) in Kansas, and work in commercial buildings must be performed or supervised by a licensed electrical contractor. This is true in many of the states that we serve across the country. Beyond compliance, there are practical reasons to work with licensed electricians on network projects.

Greenway Electric holds the required licenses from the Kansas Electrical Licensing Board to perform commercial and low-voltage electrical work. Our crews are trained in both the electrical and physical installation standards required by network infrastructure, including proper grounding, conduit fill calculations, and separation from high-voltage conductors

We work directly with general contractors, project managers, and building owners on new construction and tenant improvement projects where network installation must be coordinated with other trades. Early coordination allows conduit pathways to be established before walls are closed, reducing cost and avoiding disruptive retrofits later.

For occupied facilities, we schedule network installation work to minimize disruption to ongoing operations, including after-hours and phased installation when required by the project timeline.
